Acholi beads are a fair trade item, they are handmade and make gorgeous jewellery each one slightly different |
 |
You will need
1 x Pack of Blue Acholi beads 1 x 10g of 15/0 Delica Beads in Crystal Strawberry 2 x 4mm Swarovski bicone beads in Montana 1 x Pack of 10 Sterling Silver Crimp Beads 1 x Reel of Beadalon 7 Strand in Blue 2 x Earwires round with ball
|
Step-by-step
1. Take a 10cm length of blue beadalon, put both ends together and thread a crimp bead onto both strands. Take this crimp bead to the top and crimp - creating a small loop which you will later put on to your earwires |
2. Thread a Swarovski Crystal bicone onto both strands of wire and bring it up against the first crimp bead, add another crimp bead and crimp. |
3. the two strands of Beadalon and add five delica beads, an Acholi bead and a crimp bead onto one of the strands - crimp at the desired length and cut off any excess Beadalon |
4. On the other strand of Beadalon thread five more delica beads, an Acholi bead and a crimp bead - crimp at the desired length and trim (design tip - leave the second strand a little longer than the first). |
5. Add the finished earring to the earwires using the loop at the top of the Beadalon |
6. Repeat steps 1-5 for the other earring |
