Buying on Make!
Q Do I need to be a member of Make! to buy on the site?
A You need to register with the site to be able to buy. This is so we can give you a safe and secure shopping experience.

Q How much information do I need to give to register on the site?
A In order to buy, you only need to give an your name, email address and to choose a user name and password?

Q Do I need a PayPal account to buy on Make!
A You don't need to have a PayPal account to buy on Make!

Q What methods can I use to pay for my purchases?
A You can pay by PayPal, credit and debit card. We use PayPal to service the transaction.

Q Can I contact the seller?
A Use can use the member's link on the product sale page to send an email through to the seller.

Q How do I know if I can trust the seller?
A Every seller has feedback information against their bio. So you can check to see how other people have fared buying from them. If we receive specific complaints about a specific seller we will bar their membership and they will no longer be able to sell through Make!

Selling on Make!
Q Why do I need to be PayPal registered to sell on Make!
A You need a verified PayPal account to sell on Make! because it enables everyone to sell securely through the site, gives buyers confidence and enables us to track your sales with out needing to take credit card details from you.

Q Can I sell anything?
A We encourage you to sell craft supplies or your own handmade crafts. If you have other suitable craft items that you'd like to sell, you can sell them too. However, if you're trying to sell something that's deemed inappropriate or offensive, we will remove it from the site, and if necessary, suspend your membership.

Q Do I need to be a Make! member to sell on Make!
A Yes. You add your items for sale through the Marketlace tab within MyMake.

Q How will I be charged for my listing fees?
A You will invoiced on 1st of each month for any listings made in the preceeding month. Payment is due on receipt of your invoice.

Q Why on receipt of the invoice?
A This is because we are already providing credit by suspending payment until the 1st of the month following your listing.

Q Do I still have to pay if my item hasn't sold?
A Yes. All listings must be paid for.
